TEAL Turk's Head Bracelets

My friend, Deb Schwabe, came up with a very unique way to raise money for TEAL on WHEELS…she started making teal turk’s head bracelets. She set up a little table at the craft fair in front of the old Methodist Church. She had a sign, with a suggested $10 donation for each bracelet, saying the proceeds would go to TEAL on WHEELS to support me. Well, that’s all it took! Deb has been making bracelets day and night and has donated nearly $1,000 to my cause!

Deb is a great lady, and has always been a supporter of mine. She has truly outdone herself this time. She’s been at the craft fair several weeks and even set up a table at the annual library bazaar. She has taken orders and sent bracelets in the mail, covering the shipping out of her own pocket.

The power of collective giving is truly amazing, from $5 donations and on up, but spreading the word about ovarian cancer and my mission is another part of what Deb is doing by raising money with her bracelets. Thank you my friend!
