Fundraising Continues...

Just topped $18,000 in fundraising today with a $500 donation from Mainely Meat BBQ in Town Hill, Maine. The lovely Maxine, who waitresses there, came up with an idea of putting out a donation jar for TEAL on WHEELS on Fridays. If you put a donation in the jar, you got a chance to win a MAX Plate, a delicious collection of their wonderful BBQ offerings.
Charlie stopped by today at Mainely Meat and Maxine gave him an envelope with $500 cash in it for my cause. What a wonderful surprise! I want to thank Maxine, along with Doug and Sue, the owners of Mainely Meat, as well as all of the customers who supported TEAL on WHEELS through their donations.
